That means carving a sand sculpture with just clean and fine-grained sand mixed with water is called sand art. Attractive sculptures are created out of this sand by the Odia artists who are very much liked by people. This art is very eye catching and splendidly beautiful, this art form has gained immense popularity with the development of tourism in Puri.

There is another type of art in Odisha present named as Trakashi art or silver art. The artists of Odisha mainly found in Cuttack district have also invariably contributed to enrich their tradition in the form of this Silver Filigree or Trakashi art.
