The
Berlin Wall fell 25 years earlier on Sunday, a key affair in the fall down of
communism and the prelude to Germany’s reunification in 1990.
The centenary
is being rejoiced in Berlin with shows, speeches and the let go in the evening
of thousands of balloons enlightening a 15-kilometer widen of the past Cold War
barricade.
