World Famous Malda Silk, West Bengal, India



Malda district is a district in West Bengal, India. It situated 347 km north of Kolkata, the state capital. Silk, mango and jute and are the most famous products of this district. The exceptional range of mango produced in this district, commonly identified by the name of the district, is exported across the world and is compliments globally. The folk traditions of gombhira is a characteristic of the district, being a matchless way of depiction of joy and sorrow of everyday life of the common people, as well as the unique medium of arrangement on national and international stuffs.
